noneExtra fresh blueberries and lavender sprigs for garnish
Instructions
Make Lavender Infusion: In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a rolling boil. Once boiling, remove the saucepan from the heat and promptly add the dried culinary lavender. Cover the saucepan and let it steep for 15 minutes. After steeping, strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a bowl or measuring jug, discarding the lavender. Set the lavender infusion aside to cool to room temperature.
Prepare Blueberries: Rinse the fresh blueberries under cold water. In a blender, combine the blueberries and blend until smooth. For a silkier texture, strain the blueberry puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove any skins and seeds.
Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, combine the cooled lavender infusion, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and honey or agave syrup. Pour in the blueberry puree and mix well until all components are thoroughly blended.
Add Water: Gradually pour in the 4 cups of cold water to dilute the mixture. Taste the lemonade and adjust the flavor as needed.
Chill: Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap or a lid and place it in the refrigerator. Allow the lemonade to chill for at least 1 hour.
Serve: Fill each glass with ice cubes, then pour the blueberry lavender lemonade over the ice. Garnish each glass with fresh blueberries and a sprig of lavender.
